Clyde Franklin Branham passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, in Newnan, GA. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, adventure, and unwavering love for those closest to him.
Frank was a highly respected Airline Captain with Delta Air Lines, a career he took great pride in and one that reflected his professionalism, leadership, and passion for aviation. Throughout his years in the skies, he earned the respect and trust of countless colleagues and passengers alike.
Outside of flying, Frank found his greatest joy being outdoors. He was an avid hunter who cherished time spent in nature, whether in the woods, on the water, or simply enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. Those who knew him will remember his love of adventure, his appreciation for God's creation, and the many stories shared around hunting camps and family gatherings.
More than anything, Frank was devoted to his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend whose guidance, strength, and sense of humor touched the lives of many. His presence brought comfort and confidence to those around him, and his love will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his son, Chase Branham of Jacksonville, Florida and his wife Mary of Jacksonville, Florida along with his three grandchildren Kenzie Branham, Chase Branham Jr., and Leighton Branham.
While his passing leaves a tremendous void, his legacy lives on through the countless memories he created the lessons he shared with others, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
