Sonia Milford, a beloved resident of Grand Boucan, Haiti, passed away surrounded by family and love on May 26th, 2024. Sonia was a pillar of strength and love in her community.

Together with her husband, Nicola Paul, Sonia raised ten children near the shores of the Caribbean Sea, instilling in them the values of hard work, compassion, and family unity. Sonia was not only known for her exceptional cooking skills, which she shared with many through her meals sold in Grand Boucan and Port Au Prince, but also for her unwavering dedication as a mother and a caring grandmother.

Sonia's life was defined by her generosity and kindness towards her family. She made it her mission to offer support, encouragement, and wisdom to any family member in need, always ready with a listening ear and heartfelt advice.

In her leisure time, Sonia found joy in the simple pleasures of life: listening to Kompa music, attending church services, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles.

Sonia Milford is survived by her loving children and grandchildren, who will continue to carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her, as she leaves behind a lasting impact on the hearts and lives of those she touched.
