Jose Santos Escobar Turcios, age 68, of Lithia Springs, passed away on January 14, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him always.

Jose was a simple man with a big heart, someone who found his greatest happiness in the company of family and friends. Joyful, kind, and funny, he had an easy smile and a gentle way about him. He loved to laugh, and his laughter was a gift to everyone around him.

Some of his favorite moments were spent watching sports, enjoying old movies, and simply hanging out with the people he cared about most. He didn't need much to be happy—just time together, good conversation, and delicious food.

Jose is survived by his beloved daughters, Gricelda Escobar and Jennifer Escobar, who will forever cherish his love, warmth, and the many memories they shared together. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
