"Daddy had a big personality. He was the life of the party.  When he walked into a room, he filled it up.  It gave him joy to be around people and he loved being around his family even more." – Cassandra Clifton

"Pops was more than my grandfather; he was truly my best friend. I could always count on him to love me no matter what, and he never judged me.  We spent so much time together chatting about everything that popped into our heads – no filters at all!  He was my "go to"  guy for fishing trips and sharing a drink, making every moment feel special.  Pops was just a down-to-earth guy who made life a lot more fun.  He was my favorite person, and I know I was his.  Pops brought joy and warmth into my life that no one else could.  I will always cherish the memories we shared together, from simple conversations to joyful moments of laughter.  He taught me many valuable lessons and showed me the meaning of love and kindness.  Pops will forever hold a special place in my heart as my first angel guiding me even from afar." – Salih Clifton

He was and is genuinely loved by everyone in his family.
